I absolutely adore all the fluffy amigurumi I keep seeing online, so obviously, I had to give this fluffy yarn a try myself. I was for sure keeping my fingers crossed that this yarn was going to solve any previous issues I’ve had with these types of materials. And I have to say, the finished project looks fantastic, but getting there was quite the journey.

The yarn itself is pretty reasonably priced compared to similar options, which gets it some bonus points in my book. However, if you’re not specifically going for that fluffy look, I’m not sure I’d recommend using it. Seeing your stitches is challenging, to say the least, and oh, does this yarn love to shed. Let’s just say my mini vacuum cleaner was pulling its weight while I was working on my projects.

Overall, I think it’s a solid option if you’re looking for fluffy yarn, and I’d definitely recommend giving this brand a try. I just might have to accept that while I absolutely love how fluffy amigurumi look, actually making them isn’t quite as high on my list of favorite things to do.

I really love the look and feel of the finished projects I’ve made with this yarn, but the fluffy texture does make it pretty challenging to work with. It can be difficult to count your stitches or see exactly where you need to crochet. I also found that the soft fibers easily pull away from the strand in the middle, especially when tying or tightening pieces. I’m about 100% sure my stitch count was off on almost every round, but thankfully the chunkiness of the yarn hides it pretty well, phew! The finished product is definitely worth it, but the patience it requires shouldn’t be underestimated.

I really like the balance between price and quality with this yarn. It’s not as expensive as some of the other brands I’ve tried, but the quality is still really good, especially for smaller projects. I was able to crochet really tightly with it, which was exactly what I needed for some of my projects. The only issue I had was with the really small and fiddly parts. The yarn somehow isn’t quite “slippery” enough, for lack of a better term, and there were definitely a few moments where getting my hook through a stitch felt like it required way more determination than it should have. Overall though, for the price and the finished result, I can happily say I’m a big fan.
